Motecroce Rosso – The Taste of Tradition
Discover Motecroce Rosso, a simple, everyday red wine made by Agricola Castellani, rooted in the rolling hills near Lake Garda. This is the red our family has been pouring at the table for 4 generations - since our grandfather began bottling and selling it in the 1960s. Light, approachable, and made for sharing, it captures the spirit of convivial meals and timeless tradition.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Bright ruby red with youthful reflections.
Aroma: Notes of red berries and subtle floral hints.
Palate: Light-bodied, juicy, and smooth, with gentle tannins and a clean, dry finish.
Serving Suggestions
Motecroce Rosso is made for the table—perfect with cured meats, pasta dishes, grilled vegetables, or simple roasted meats. Serve slightly chilled at 14–16°C for a refreshing, easy-drinking experience.
Winemaking Process
Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Sangiovese grapes, this wine reflects our family's traditional approach. The grapes are sourced from vineyards near Lake Garda and vinified simply to highlight freshness and fruit. Motecroce Rosso is an honest wine—light, lively, and made to be enjoyed without fuss, just as we’ve always done.

Discover our family business: tradition and passion
Welcome to our family business, now in its fourth generation. My girlfriend Sabine and I, both graduates in viticulture and oenology, work side by side with my parents Gianluigi and Maria, graduates in agricultural crops. Our company is located on the enchanting eastern hills of Lake Garda, at the foot of Monte Baldo.
