Pater Joseph 2023 – Pet Nat Red | Natural Sparkling Wine on the Lees
Celebrate heritage with Pater Joseph 2023, a naturally sparkling red wine (Pétillant Naturel) crafted originally from our beloved nonno Giuseppe "Joseph". This unfiltered pet nat is refermented in the bottle and left on its lees, delivering an authentic, vibrant expression of our land and family tradition.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Deep ruby red with a lively, natural fizz.
Aroma: Intense notes of sour cherry, wild berries, and a hint of earthiness.
Palate: Crisp and juicy with refreshing acidity and strong tannins. A rustic sparkle meets a smooth, almost dry finish.
Serving Suggestions
Perfect for outdoor meals, Pater Joseph Pet Nat Red pairs beautifully with grilled meats, sausages, charcuterie, and hard cheeses. Serve well chilled around 8 °C — and for a refreshing twist, pour it over 4–5 ice cubes. It’s a summer essential that turns any gathering into a celebration.
Winemaking Process
Made from a blend of Ancellotta and Negrara, Pater Joseph undergoes natural bottle fermentation thanks to the addition of dried Corvinone Grapes. No added sugar, no added yeasts, no filtration, and no disgorgement—just raw, honest winemaking. This natural sparkling red wine stays on its lees, preserving complexity and texture in every glass.
